The B848CS is magnetized through one of its 1/2″ dimensions, meaning the highest magnetic attraction is derived from its smaller sides, rather than the larger ones. This unique magnetization ensures the block is straightforward to grab and maneuver.
Distinct from most of our Countersunk Magnets, this model’s hole runs parallel to the direction of magnetization – a “through the side” configuration. Consequently, the north and south poles of this magnet are not located on the faces containing the hole.
