NdFeB Countersunk/Counterbored Magnets

Table of Contents

Neodymium countersunk/counterbored magnet is the most widely used neodymium disc/block magnet with countersunk/counterbore holes in the center. This magnet could be easily fastened into place for a temporary or permanent fitting.

Because of hard and brittle mechanical properties, rare earth magnets can not be made into threaded holes. Countersunk holes are a perfect solution for magnets that are needed to be fastened to other surfaces. Compared to 3M adhesive, countersunk magnets are clearly a more secure option. Customers do not need to worry about the appearance and external structure since the bolt head will be inserted into the counterbore. All these make neodymium countersunk magnets a great option for many applications including manufacturing, woodworking (door/cabinet closures), art projects (hanging art/box on a wall), holding a curtain and many other custom applications!

EPI Magnets not only produces many kinds of dimensions/grades/ magnetization directions for Neodymium Countersunk/Counterbored Magnets, but also provides different coating options for various working environments and economic purpose.

Shapes: Neodymium Countersunk/Counterbored magnets come in different shapes(Disc, Block, Arc):

Neodymium Block Magnets With Countersunk/Counterbore Holes

Neodymium Disc Magnets With Countersunk/Counterbore Holes

Neodymium Arc Magnets With Countersunk/Counterbore Holes

Materials: Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron.

DimensionsCustomized.

ToleranceGenerally, the tolerance is +/– .004″ for all dimensions. Tighter tolerance is also available.
