These products are various Neodymium Magnets that have a 3M self-adhesive on one of the magnetized surfaces.
Neodymium magnets can offer up to 1000 times their own weight pull force. This feature provides the possibility to design assemblies with small magnets in limited space in many applications. It’s difficult to make Countersunk/Counterbored holes on the small magnets and use common and appropriately sized fasteners to fix such small magnets on the non-magnetic surfaces. If you are facing this problem, Neodymium magnets with 3M adhesive are the perfect solution!
EPI magnets provide the 3M adhesive backer with a protective backing liner which makes removal much easier. It’s worth noting that the 3M adhesive layer is placed on one magnetic pole and covers the surface. EPI magnets provides both North pole placing and South pole placing for each 3M adhesive magnet. If you have special requirements for covering a specific pole surface (for example, when you use a magnet to attract another magnet), please inform us when sending the RFQ.
