NdFeB Ring Magnets

Neodymium Ring Magnet is a disc/cylinder magnet with a hollow center, the quantity, position and diameter of the holes can be customized according to customers’ applications. Without particular requirements, the hole is centrally located, but we are capable to place the hole at any position on the disc/cylinder.

Generally, Neodymium ring magnets are used as part of an assembly to fix the magnet to another item or are used (particularly with large ring magnets) to generate the parallel magnetic field within the aperture of the ring.

EPI Magnets not only produces many kinds of dimensions/grades/ magnetization directions for Neodymium Ring Magnets but also provides different coating options for various working environments and economic purposes.

Materials: Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron.

Dimensions: The commonest dimensions of the ring magnet is from 1/8’’ OD x 1/16’’ ID x 1/16’’ T to 3’’ OD x 2’’ ID x 1 T’’. Custom sizes available, contact us for quote.

ToleranceGenerally, the tolerance is +/– .004″ for all dimensions. Tighter tolerance is also available.

Tips: SmCo magnets perform better when operation temperature is above 150 ℃ and cost less than UH, EH and AH grades. We suggest you choose SmCo magnets in high temperature.

Coating/PlatingCustomized.

Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni), Zinc (Zn), Gold (Ni-Cu-Au), Epoxy, Ni-Cu-Epoxy, Plastic, Teflon® (PTFE), Xylan® (PTFE), Everlube-6155®.

Magnetization directions: Neodymium Ring Magnets can be axially or diametrically magnetized.

1.Axially Magnetization: Neodymium Disc/Cylinder Magnets are magnetized along their geometric axis.

2.Diametrically Magnetization: Neodymium Disc/Cylinder Magnets are magnetized across their diameters.
