These 1/2″ cubes are specifically engineered to be used in conjunction with our B888-2PE-N52 cubes to construct Halbach Arrays. The holes are designed to accommodate a 1/8″ rod, facilitating magnet alignment in two dimensions and simplifying the assembly process. You can opt for a threaded rod, allowing for the placement of nuts on either end to provide the necessary clamping force, or choose a plain rod with an alternative source of clamping force.
