The rings are retailed in pairs due to their dual magnetization directions, enabling them to function as clasps. Each magnet in the pair has a unique pole orientation – one with the north pole on the countersunk hole side, and the other with the south pole on the same side. This design allows the two faces to align flatly, akin to a knot fitting inside the countersunk hole in the ring. The clasps are nickel-plated, boasting a shiny, silver finish. The small hole measures 1/21″, while the larger hole is 1/10″.
